Colour: brown with cream band across the front

Distinguishing features: Banded appearance

Adults eat: very little

Larvae are pests of: dried food, nuts, cereals, pet food, dried fruit and chocolate.

Damage: Webbing and frass on gnawed food

Often found on: They are only found infesting dried food and will not attack textiles etc.
