Full grown larva

Size: 0.5mm when first hatched to 5mm fully grown 

Shape: Parallel sided oval

Colour: Cream with reddish-brown bands of hair.

Antennae: Not visible

Distinguishing features: Similar to Anthrenus carpet beetle larvae, but longer and with darker bands and wispy hairs at the back. 

It is difficult to differentiate between Trogoderma, Reesa and Anthrenocerus larvae.
