Anthrenus flavipes larva

Size: 0.5mm when first hatched to 6mm when fully grown 

Shape: Oval

Colour: Cream with bands of black hairs

Antennae: Not visible

Distinguishing features: They are much darker than other Anthrenus larvae with a narrow brush of dark hairs at the rear end. 

Very rarely found in the UK but more common in southern Europe and the USA.
